History, Time and Space for the Iny (Javaé) people from the critical interculturality, decoloniality and the enactive approach

This project intends to perceive the possibilities of the emergence and affirmation of indigenous knowledge and how the indigenous narratives of the Javaé people are structured in relation to time, space and the body, through new contextualised pedagogical practices used by students of Javaé people throughout the Internship in the Intercultural Education course and in the Institutional Scholarship Initiative Program (PIBID diversity of the Federal University of Goiás (UFG)) between the years of 2010 and 2017. Twenty teachers and 150 (one hundred fifty) indigenous elementary and middle school students from four villages of the Javaé people will participate in this study. They are, Txuiri village, Wariwari village, Barreira Branca village and São João village, all of them located on Bananal Island in the state of Tocantins that will answer questions related to their understanding of time, space and history. The data will be analyzed according to the relevant analytical procedures and their results will enable the training of researchers as well as specific scientific knowledge in this field related to the indigenous populations of the Araguaia-Tocantins region.
