Anthropology of Health

This discipline aims to discuss the sociocultural dimensions of health/illness from the history of anthropology and addressing aspects related to body, health and suffering. Initially one should reflect on the classical work in the health/disease area from health anthropology and medical anthropology and, at the second moment, deepen the reflection with the reading of ethnographies.
