Audiovisual Narratives and History Didactics: the art of putting life on stage as a historical issue

The course aims to study the audiovisual narratives in their relations with the story and history. From the premise that narrative is an anthropological form of representation of experiences (Ricoeur), elements of construction of audiovisual works will be studied in their relations with culture - especially historical and artistic - of each time and place. The theoretical framework is premised on the arguments of Bakhtin, of the Philosophy of Language that allows articulating the theses of Vygotsky, of Psychology and Geertz, of Anthropology; Williams, the Sociology of Culture and Communication; By Stam of Cinema. In the field of historiography, it is Rüsen's theses that guides the reflections and analyzes. From this conceptual framework we will explore possibilities of analysis that open to audiovisual narratives, in their pedagogical and/or performative aspects in order to contemplate various fields of knowledge, particularly History, Didactics of History, Cultural Performances and Cinema.
