Reviews
The PPGH publishes two periodicals História Revista (History Reviewed) and Revista de Teoria de História (History Theory Review).
História Revista is published every four months and its purpose is to present and disseminate historiographic production in the form of previously unpublished articles, translations, conferences, interviews and reviews. Access to its contents is unrestricted and immediate based on the principle that making scientific knowledge available to the public free of charge is a way of fostering greater worldwide democratization of knowledge. ‘History Reviewed” makes no article processing or submission charges to authors and it has been regularly published since 1996.
The electronic periodical History Theory Review (Revista de Teoria da História- RTH) is published every six months and its aim is to provide a forum for scientific debate; a space in which to discuss current issues that stimulate reflection on what modern day historiographers do when they are analyzing history. The RTH is also a member of the Brazilian Theory of History and History of Historiography Society (Sociedade Brasileira de Teoria da História e História da Historiografia - SBTHH) and the International Network for Theory of History (INTH). Access to its contents is unrestricted and immediate based on the principle that making scientific knowledge available to the public free of charge is a way of fostering greater worldwide democratization of knowledge. It has been regularly published since 2009.
