Man and nature in the Middle Ages

The course proposes to study the perception of nature in the western medieval world. It will analyze the theological and cosmological perspectives of this perception, as well as the medieval imagery related to it. Historiographical discussions will be carried out and examined on the concept of nature and the elements that configure the perception of the natural in the period covered.
