Here you will learn about initiatives in Public History and the dissemination of historical knowledge produced independently by our students and alumni.

Historiciz(ACTION)

Historiciz(ACTION) is a space that aims to gather articles about History, published in annals of events and that have already been presented in symposiums, meetings, congresses, exhibitions, among others.

Thus, the focus is the dissemination of history, promoting free digital access to the results of Brazilian research. In addition, the blog has tips on films, documentaries and books that can be used by professors in class or in their individual studies.

In few months of operation (since 08/28/2019), it already has texts from academics from PUC-GO, UEMA, UEG, PPGH/UFG, College João Calvino, Federal University São Paulo (Campus Guarulhos), Claretiano – University Center, UFMS, UFF-RJ, Education State Institute São Francisco Solano and PPGHIS/UFMA.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that, besides the Brazilian readers, the blog has already received access from readers in the United States, Bolivia, Argentina, Portugal, India and the United Kingdom.

Ogro Historian

The site, on the air since 2018, seeks to broaden the debate about history on the Internet. It began its activities with the publication of written texts and, at the end of 2019, launched the Ogro Podcast, to diversify the debates and offer more accessible and flexible content to users. All this content is produced to contribute to the public debate on various topics and to spread historical knowledge. In this way we believe we can collaborate to improve the quality of reflections on the daily problems we face in our society.
